Hey everybody, long time no see-um. :D

Those that know me here know I've had my share of bumps in the road the past several years, well my fortune appears to have changed for the better! I hate to even say anything for fear of sounding like I'm bragging, but since I've never gotten a spontaneously given recognition in my career, I thought I'd share.

I was nominated by several of my co-workers; boss, trauma surgeon and program manager. I got in my office one day and Lori calls and sez "Where have you been?? I got a letter from the state and I need you to come explain this to us." Well, obviously I thought I fucked something up and was racking my brain to figure out WTF I'd done that the state got wind of. I was kinda shittin my pants when I walked in the office and there sits the director of ED/Trauma Services and the Chief of Trauma Surgery with the program manager. She then read the award letter and I about bawled.

I've worked for almost 25 years, sharing what I know and saving lives and have never so much as gotten employee of the month from my previous employer. Six months with the new gig and I'm rewarded with triple what I used to make and now this achievement award. I'm still kinda speechless when people ask me about it. Those of us who fly under the radar and just do our job without blowing our horns about every little thing do appreciate some kudos too.

Anyway, not bragging, just wanted to share with some of my excellent buds. I keep threatening to spend more time on the forum and hopefully after this month's EMS Week conference that I'm organizing, things will slow down some and I'll have some time. Love the job, love the people. Keep working and doing your thing and eventually, you'll get noticed.

IMO no one does black as well as Jackson/Charvel.
This is a great addition as it combines the features
I love on my Jackson DKMGT and the Model 88.

I know, the headstock points in the wrong direction (for me) but
the 5A is a great player, and the J95 pickup sounds fine.
