Cool how Heineken is popular all around the world, while a common name for it in the Netherlands is 'horse piss' ;) And that's actually being serious, and not in a bash-mood.

Would anyone be interested in my personal favorite Dutch/Belgian beers to enhance your experience with drinking the liquid gold even more?

I travel to Brussels & Amsterdam occassionally, so I'd be interested in what's good over there in the old country.

Hoegaarden is fairly common over here in the US:

Well, if you're in the south of the Netherlands, you could check out Brand and my personal favorite, Jupiler And if you're in for something stronger, be sure to give Duvel a chance. It's pretty heavy for beer, but certainly nice And Palm is a great one too (darn... The only Dutch one in that list is Brand, LOL, Belgian beer is just better in my opinion )
