Default Floyd Rose Discovery Guitar

I had to check these guitars out, my local GC had this one on blow out at $169, and I had to get it.

The new Floyd is better is everyway, hell it was made by the guy who invented the mouse trap so why wouldn't it. The only argument you can have is no one but Floyd makes the strings but you can order direct from him for about 10 bucks a set and different gauges and they are good strings.
The Floyd is quality first class this one is the same one on the USA models.
Think about this: no more tuners ever! No wrapping the strings around the peg, how many times can you reuse the strings? With the speed loaders it's a straight pull no bends anywhere, take them off and reuse them as many times as you want. Pull one string or all and just a second.
Can you tell I like this Floyd and it will retrofit to any Floyd equipped guitar.

Oh one more thing it plays and sounds as good as much more expensive axes.

I've been watching the USA models on eBay for a couple months... I DEFINATELY would buy the import at $169... the USA model goes for a grand USED!

Nice score Jon!

Adam

It is easy to say now but hell yes I'd have got up and had a cup of coffee with you if I'd have known.

I set up the Guitar and all I can say is WOW it is a steal, plays like a dream with low low action.

Yup, but I saw a picture of a black one with the standard pickguard on it.
I think the Discovery is Floyd's Focus line, same trem just cheaper electrics and finish.
